Last week, the gold market experienced unprecedented violent fluctuations, with domestic TD prices breaking through the 800 yuan mark, reaching a high of 833.7 yuan. Then it plummeted and fell to a 773 yuan area, and the final price closed lower.

The international gold price reached a maximum of 3,500 points in the session. After hitting this historical high that day, it immediately fell under pressure, with a single-day decline of more than 180 points, and the price finally closed lower.

In the following days, gold prices maintained fluctuations of more than 100 points. In the current and future turbulent situation, the fluctuation in this range may become the norm, which is a challenge and an opportunity.

The US dollar index began to look for a bottom last week. Fortunately, it stabilized and rebounded in the middle of the week. Unfortunately, the price did not close to the 100 mark in the end.
